Thanks for your honesty. You have hit upon the key difference between
Sudbury schools and many other so-called "democratic" or "free" schools. It never
occurs to members of Sudbury school communities that there would NOT be
people out there, deserving of equal respect, who would support all sorts of
political, religious, philosophical, and intellectual position that each of them
(the members of the Sudbury community) personally would find objectionable.
Sudbury schools have no agenda of beliefs of any sort, and have always
welcomed and protected diversity. Real diversity. So one should never make
assumptions about what Sudbury-its "support".
