However, we have to be careful when we use the words
lefties, or conservations. Here's why: I think
there's a left wing (liberals) and a right wing
(conservatives). BUT then there's the libertarian
left wing (which as I said in my last message is the
traditional interpretation of 'libertarian') which is
significantly different from the lefties (liberals),
and the (U.S.) libertarian right wing which is
significantly different from the so-called
conservatives. I think right-wing libertarians would
be very quick to point out that difference and say
they are the real conservatives or paleoconservatives
(=libertarians)... but ironically, (I insist) the real
libertarians are leftwingers, or from the so called
New Left, which is really the original Left. But
since the pseudo-socialists and communists distorted
the meaning of socialism, the real socialists are now
referred to as the New Left, to distinguish from those
who support/supported the pseudo-socialist Soviet
system.
