We have a grant committee that continues to work on those. To this date
we have had modest success; somewhere in the neighborhood of $10k.


That's a good idea that I'm not sure any of us have thought of. I'll
bring it up in an outreach committee meeting.

ok, just one more question...
you mentioned fundraising - that's a great idea - i guess some of that
money goes towards the tuition fund also? what about scholarships or
grants from organizations? like, if you (or any other school rep) got
in touch with some organizations that offer college scholarships, maybe
some of them could be persuaded to offer svs scholarships? then when a
family came, or single students like dawn mentioned, who were having
trouble footing the bill, they could hypothetically apply for a
scholarship. are there difficulties to surmount with that idea? aside
from the obvious one of finding the organizations who agree to offer the
