Actually, the virus (Kakworm) was not in an attachment, it was imbedded
within the email and can get onto your computer through the "hole" in
Outlook Express v. 5.0. So, disabling attachments would not be a
solution here. (More info. on this worm can be found at F-secure.com or
the like). Fourtunately, my virus scanner also picked it up and trashed
it right away.
