A student breaking rules does that they can be expelled for breaking does NOT
nessicarily mena they want to be expelled. It could be that they like enough
about the school to want to be there, but do not like to follow the rule they
are getting kicked out for...
It still could be correct to kick them out, but not because they are "Showing
that they want to get kicked out".
