That is most certainly not a legitimate warning message. These things
circulate all the time. In the first place, no organizations responsible
for monitoring the emergence of new viruses will alert people via
chain emails. In other words, the attribution to Compaq is definitely
phony. Secondly, no virus is recognizable by the title of an email
message - the subject line can always be changed. Finally, it was a
terribly poorly composed piece of writing, and the warning that it
will wipe out your harddrive AND your web-browsers gave me a good
laugh.

I love the title of the would-be virus, though. The "WOBBLER." Reminds
me of the Wobblies.
