I agree that "We the People", have agreed to support our republic with our
tax money, which, IMO, should encompass defense and infrastructure. Not
allopathic medicine or education. Our government has grown leaps and bounds
beyond what our forefathers had in mind, without ending poverty, as
I guess, as Dale said earlier, we will just have to agree to disagree on
this. It is certainly arguable that education is as necessary as defense and
infrastructure. Where we draw the line in terms of proper governmental
duties is, indeed, a sticky wicket!
