My thoughts on vouchers: yes, yes, yes, yes, and yes.
Go ahead and let them use them for religious schools. Saying that
you're only allowed to have public funding for "nonreligious things" is
Anything can be called a religion. Religion/nonreligion is a
meaningless distinction in terms of public policy. If we get the
government saying it's okay to fund whatever their specific ideology is
as long as they consider it "nonreligious" we're all doomed.
Unfortunately I have read many voucher laws which would exclude
Sudbury Valley. But then, we can't really expect the public school
system to swallow SVS whole, right? Vouchers are a step in the right
